These exclusive prints are traditionally representational and appear, almost at first glance photographic ........but look closer and they reveal a unique “impasto” finish, reminiscent of paint heavily applied by palette knife.
The style of painting “impasto” requires a highly skilled and decisive application, combined with the confidence of many years of dedicated practice. After many years of trying different techniques to portray images of Venice, I think the “impasto” style captures the wonderful varied textures of a unique city ravaged and worn by time.
Print sizes and Materials
The prints are available in three sizes, image size of 36” x 24”, 30” x 20” or 24” x 16” there is a generous white border to allow your framer a choice of “frame to edge” or “frame to image”.
There is a choice of substrate, Quality Art Canvas or Satin Photo paper.
The inks are Solvent based and UV stable, which produce vibrant and long lasting colours.
